A native of Royal Palm Beach, FL, Michelle began her running career at the age of 7. It all began by her chasing after her father whose own passion for the sport spurred Michelle on.
Michelle was a very accomplished runner during her high school career at Seminole Ridge High School.
She became the state champion in the 800 meters and the number two all-time in the state.
Following high school, Michelle took her talents to Jacksonville University (JU). At JU, Michelle became the program’s record-holder in the indoor and outdoor 800, the conference record holder in the same event, and a two-time All-American.
Michelle finished her senior campaign debuting at the USATF Outdoor championships.
Michelle resides in our nation’s capital competing for the District Track Club under Coaches Tom Brumlik and Matt Centrowitz Sr. Furthermore, she coaches track and field at Episcopal High School in Alexandria, VA.
Outside of the track and field realm you can often find Michelle in a coffee shop wander-lusting and writing. Even more, her academic background as a geographer has left her with a passion for travel and learning about other cultures through food.
