Mollie Turner

Marathon Runner

Mollie Turner started running as a freshman in high school. She was determined to become a great hurdler and high jumper. But at the end of her first track season, she found middle-distance running and instantly felt like she had found her calling. As a result of the running experience, she joined the cross country team and was hooked for life.
After high school, Mollie competed on the track team at James Madison University in Virginia. While there, she was a 3-time All-American in the indoor 5k, 3000-meter steeplechase, and cross country. After college, Mollie ran for the Nike Farm Team for a year. She then returned to JMU where she received her MS in Exercise Physiology.

Mollie ran off and on for a few years. She got married and had two daughters in 2013 and 2015. Since then, Mollie has resumed training and set PRs at nearly every distance.
