She fell in love with running and raced her first marathon in January 1998. She spent the next 11 years running 3-4 marathons per year including many Boston qualifiers. In 2009, she turned her attention to triathlon. Competing her first half Ironman in 2009, she discovered her true strength lies in long course triathlon. Since then, the focus has been half and full distance Ironman with numerous 70.3’s and seven full Ironmans. In addition, Susan has two Kona qualifications (2014 and 2017).
“As a registered dietitian, triathlon and running coach and endurance athlete, I firmly believe that nutrition can be the differentiator during training and on race day.” is the mantra which guide Susan’s advice to both the novice an professional athletes.
